Last season Kater was an All-Conference selection after passing for 2,300 yards and 29 touchdowns, and rushing for 956 yards and 14 touchdowns.
In an interview with Scout.com's Midwest Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu, Kater said:
“My ideal college would have a good location, an offense that I can do well in and that fits me good and great academics.”
